At the Eye Clinic we understand the risks of smoking and how it effects your vision.  We want you to be aware too!  Bill had diabetes and he used to smoke. Cigarette smoking made his diabetes much worse. In this TV spot from CDC's Tips From Former Smokers campaign, Bill explains the serious health problems he developed by age 40, including kidney failure, blindness in one eye, and a leg amputated due to poor circulation.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease.  On Friday's of October, our staff is wearing pink to help increase awareness!  Don't forget to wear your pink too and get informed about the steps for early detection of breast cancer!

 

The Eye Clinic helped to raise awareness of childhood cancer by participating in "paint the world gold" for September.
